These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Krifl("the App", "we", "us"), a photographer-booking marketplace available as a mobile application and a web application at https://krifl.com. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Krifl is a marketplace that connects clients with independent photographers for on-demand and scheduled photo sessions. Photographers are independent contractors, not our employees, agents, or representatives. We provide the platform for discovery, booking, delivery, and payment; we do not provide photography services ourselves, and we do not supervise or control how photographers perform their work.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account, verify your email address, and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 17 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the App. A user may act as both a client and a photographer.
The App supports two kinds of session requests:
A request is not a confirmed booking until the photographer accepts it. Photographers may accept or decline any request. Either party may cancel a session before it is completed; when cancelling, you may be asked to provide a reason, which is shared with the other party. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may lead to account restrictions.
During an accepted session, the photographer's live location is shared with the client until the session ends. After the shoot, the photographer uploads the session's photos and videos through the App and the client reviews and accepts the delivery.
Payments are processed by Stripe. The session price is based on the photographer's hourly rate and the session duration, and a minimum session price may apply. Clients pay through the App after the session, and may optionally add a tip.
A platform fee applies to each paid session and is deducted from the session price before the photographer's payout. Tips are passed to the photographer in full. Photographers receive payouts through Stripe Connect and must complete Stripe's onboarding (including identity verification) before they can be paid.
Except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms, payments are non-refundable once a session has been completed and paid. If something went wrong with your session, contact us at support@krifl.com and we will review it.
After delivery, clients can view and download their session photos and videos free of charge for a limited storage window (currently 30 days by default). After the free window ends, continued access to session media requires an active cloud-storage subscription, billed monthly through Stripe. If the free window ends without a subscription, access to the media is locked; subscribing restores access. You can cancel the subscription at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. We recommend downloading your photos during the free window if you do not plan to subscribe.
Session media:photographers retain ownership of the photos and videos they capture. By delivering session media through the App, the photographer grants the client a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to download, view, and use the media for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use requires the photographer's separate permission.
Public gallery:photographers may mark individual session photos as public, which displays them in the App's public gallery. Photographers are responsible for ensuring they have any consent needed from the people depicted before making a photo public. Public photos can be removed from the gallery by the photographer at any time, or by contacting us.
Portfolios and profiles: by uploading portfolio images, profile photos, reviews, or other content, you grant us a license to host, display, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating the marketplace. You represent that you have the rights to any content you upload.
After a completed session, the client and the photographer may review each other (one review per person per session). Reviews must be honest, based on your actual experience, and free of unlawful or abusive content. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
You agree not to:
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any photographer or session booked through the App, and we are not a party to the agreement between client and photographer. You interact with other users at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krifl will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or from any session booked through it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in platform fees in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars (USD $50).
You may stop using the App at any time and may request deletion of your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse other users, or misuse the platform. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licenses, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
